As parents ourselves we recognise that time away with children (young or old!) can be both challenging and rewarding. We welcome families with children to The Stables and offer a wide range of facilities designed to help - particularly with younger children:

• A full range of safety accessories including stair gates, window locks and safety bars
• Travel cot with mattress, high chair, booster seat, childs cutlery, plates, dishes and cups
• A range of indoor and outdoor toys and accessories incl. child friendly cooking equipment and soft matting for babies/toddlers to be used inside or out!
• Baby-sitting service available by prior arrangement with owners

The TV and DVD player should help the whole family to fill quiet moments and rainy days, whilst our on-site WiFi Internet access should help to keep older children connected (and quiet!). For those looking for outdoor action the quiet village lanes provide a perfect venue for family cycling, the canals and fields provide ample opportunity for leisure walks and a range of other, more specialist and strenuous activities is always available nearby.

We are also happy to set up the travel cot prior to your arrival to make it easy to sit and relax when you get here knowing your tired family can go to bed whenever you're ready?! There is room for this in either bedroom - just let us know which one you'd like it in when you book.
